This course is a comprehensive study of advanced editing techniques using After Effects. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on learning, students will develop a basic skill set in:
Prerequisites (courses and/or assessment or tests): Intermediate level of skill in a non-linear editing software.
Student Course Materials: Access to the Internet outside class time for surfing and printing; headphones; Flash or external hard drive.
Book (Recommended but not required; not included in course fee): Adobe After Effects CC: Classroom in a Book.

Course Title: After Effects
Target Audience: Who would benefit from this course/program? Five types of learners:
Equipment provided in the classroom: Computer workstations, Adobe Creative Suite CC for each computing workstation
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Teaching Methodology and Assessment: Course delivery will use a combination of lecture, PowerPoint, video samples, internet demonstrations and hands-on training with the use of computers with Adobe After Effects CC. Assessments will be made on an on-going basis through quizzes, instructor observed demonstrations of the use of equipment and materials and video editing assignments.
Criteria for Successful Completion: Minimum requirements for successful course completion:
