Fitness Assessments are a great way to get a baseline measurement of your current fitness levels including cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition! You can then set your own custom fitness goals based on your current fitness levels. We offer free drop in assessment sessions once a month on Fitness Fridays but you can also schedule a one on one fitness assessment with a personal trainer.
Basic Assessment -$25
The basic assessment takes about 45 minutes and includes a Risk Factor Analysis, Blood Pressure, Circumference Measurements, Flexibility (Sit & Reach Test), Muscular Strength and Endurance (Curl up, Squat and Push Up Tests), Cardiorespiratory Fitness (YMCA Step Test), and Body Fat Analysis using Bioelectrical Impedance Analyzer (BIA) and circumference measurements.
How do I Register/Schedule an one-on-one assessment?
1. Contact the Assistant Director of Rec & Wellness to schedule your fitness assessment.
2. Complete the Fitness Assessment/Personal Training Interest Form, Health History Questionnaire and Exercise History Evaluation and return all three forms to the SAC front desk OR scan and send them to the Assistant Director of Rec & Wellness.
3. Once you have your one-on-one assessment scheduled, you may then submit your payment at the SAC Front desk.
