Outdoor Adventure Trips
A variety of trips are held each semester to fun and exciting places!
Past trips have included snorkeling at the Georgia Aquarium, Local Hiking, Spring Break Service Project, Canoeing, Whitewater Rafting, Backpacking and Skydiving!!
Snorkeling is when the swimmer floats wearing a mask and fins on the water's surface and breathes through a snorkel.
Hiking is an outdoor activity which consists of walking in natural environments, often on hiking trails.
Service Project takes place during Spring Break. Service is split between 2 days: 1 day swamp service on motorboats. 1 day trail maintenance and clean up. Work pants, boots required. Gloves provided. Canoeing will take place in free time
Rafting or whitewater rafting is a challenging recreational activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on whitewater or different degrees of rough water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers.
Backpacking combines hiking and camping in a single trip. A backpacker hikes into the backcountry to spend one or more nights there, and carries supplies and equipment to satisfy sleeping and eating needs.
